Eliza was born in Boston, MA and began acting at the Watertown Children's Theater when she was a child. In her spare time, she returns to this theater to sign the performances for the deaf, because she is not only wonderful, but she cares about helping other people. She was discovered during a search to find the perfect actress to star opposite Juliette Lewis in "That Night." This starring role led to smaller roles in subsequent films up until 1996, when Eliza decided to take time off from acting and devote herself to her grades and enjoying her last two years of high school. After that, Eliza decided to put off attending college (she was accepted to both Boston University and George Washington University) to accept the role of Faith in "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer." And we are all very happy she did.

Unfortunately, Eliza has decided to once again concentrate on her studies, going to college instead of continuing her role as Faith on Angel as had been rumoured. She will be missed, but we can be sure that Eliza will have a long career in acting once she has completed her schooling.
