"One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight." Missy danced to the counted rhythm and swayed her hips from side to side. She was dancing all right; at least she thought she was. Her body displayed every move like it was a part of her reflex. It was so smooth and so automatic to a point that Torrance didn't even noticed the obvious absentminded look she had on her face. Missy knew she wasn't concentration on the routine. The same thoughts had been going through her head, over and over, < She likes me? I don't believe it. She likes me. >
"Urrghh...stupid `spirit fingers'!" Torrance yelled in frustration. That was when Missy finally wondered back to her current state. Torrance was dancing beside her, totally missing the beats.
"The Regional is in 6 days and I'm still not getting this," Torrance stomped hard on the ground and throw her arms in the air, shaking her head she continued, "we are *so* screwed."
Missy chucked at the sight of Torrance's ridiculous outburst of panic. "Come on~! Relax! It's not that bad." Missy made her claim. "Here, let me show you how it's done."
Missy took the liberty of teaching Torrance the moves, thinking that it was the best way to find out if Torrance liked her or not.
Missy slid herself behind her, placing her hands on Torrance's hips. She swayed them from side to side until both of their bodies matched perfectly to the beats. She pressed her body slightly up against her back while she moved her hands to trail down to Torrance's arms and gently clasped their hands together.
Torrance felt her heart raced almost immediately as Missy brushed her face against hers and breathed on her ear. She held on to her breath, embracing the electrical feelings she got every time their bodies came in contact with each other.
"..Are you..getting all this..?" Missy whispered.
"..mmmmmm...just about.." Torrance moaned deep in her throat.
"That's...umm...really...good." Missy replied with their bodies still dancing in a completely synchronized fashion.
"...You never did answer my question the other day..." Missy asked, resting her chin on the blonde's shoulder.
"...Answer what?" Torrance was having trouble catching her breath.
"Remember when we were in the car...and I asked them about their sexuality..." She said, bring her arms around to her waist and let her hands settle on her firm stomach.
"...ya..."
"I know Jan's straight and Lez is controversial, but you never did tell me yours." Missy began to nibble on her neck.
Torrance suddenly pulled herself away from Missy. She turned around, staring right into those dark brown eyes, she asked, "Well...what do you think?" Then she smiled seductively at her, waiting for her to reply.
"...I dunno, but I guess there's only one way to find out for sure." Miss leaned forward and kissed her on the lips.
"Wow." They parted a few seconds after. Missy was now dead certain that Torrance likes her, and knowing that she couldn't wipe away the silly grin she had on her face.
"Ya...that *was* something wasn't it," Torrance smiled at Missy as she pulled her closer, "but...you do realize that we're having major cheer crisis right now..and that... we should really get back to the practices."
"Well, the Regional isn't up for another 6 days," she sounded confident in her words, "and besides, you've got me to teach you all the moves now don't you?"
